Bromeliads & Macro Poinsettia

In December in NC there are not as many opportunites to photograph flora.  The image on the left was taken at Lowe's in the indoor plant section   Bromeliads are a plant that needs to be a house plant in the winter months for our plant zone.  I went to a poinsettia open house in King, NC, and took pictures of a lot of varieties of poinsettias.  The image on the right I intentionally wanted to capture the center flowers as a macro. The  modified colored leaves are actually bracts. Green leaves are below the bracts.  Images taken with my iPhone XR - no post editing.
With indoor lighting you can not always get the best light.
