Close up of Bark on Chinese Elm Trees.

On Sunday I went to the NC Folk Festival in downtown Greensboro. While I was at the music venue stage for LeBauer Park, I noticed some trees with bark and saw an opportunity to capture some abstract images of the textures close up.  Images taken with my iPhone 6S. On Monday I sent an email to the Greensboro Parks & Recreation to find the name of the tree.  It is a Chinese elm and has been referred to as lace bark. I plan to go back and try to capture more images. It reminds me of paintings I have seen in art museums.
